Before there were kickflips there was the backyard ramps. That was the it. There were no skateparks. Pick up a hammer, saw some nails and start building. Here Russ Iglay, Steve Herring and Jim Murphy show off some backyard skills circa 1983. Oh the first part is a super secret warehouse ramp in New Jersey that is currently membered by Russ.

This was taken from a very uncomfortable rock on the beach of Padang. They call the wave Padang Padang because it sometimes has two sections. This day I decided to take a break from surfing and just watch, shoot some vid. With me are some comrads. Chris Jackson and Jake who had just returned from G-Land. Watch some of these brave chargers glorify in barrel beauty or get caned to obliviation, as Chris noted.

Uluwatu Bali

Uluwatu Bali is a magical place. If you are a surfer it has the best left handers in the world. This is a raw viedo of a day on the cliff at Ulu and a quick stroll through the temple where if you are not quick, the local monkey population will steal your camera.
